本來很想發Joan Baez的經典版本來可惜手頭沒有，這個應該是齊豫的版本，相當美妙的聲音，我是在一個心理測試的FLASH里面聽到的這首歌。
十分喜歡里面豎琴的聲音，干凈清澈。我也好想去倫敦，我也好想去愛丁堡。
Geordie這首歌的背景來源，見于17世紀早期的《蘇格蘭手卷》中一個名叫《God be wi' thee, Geordie》的故事。Geordie擁有6個孩子（不是歌中的三個），他被指控偷了國王的6匹白色的馬并且在Bohenny賣掉而被判絞刑。而根據Buchan的記載，Geordie在史上確有其人，全名是George Gordon of Gight（1512-1562），是詹姆斯四世一個私生女的兒子，并且擁有爵士封號。他由于“對領主Bignet之妻過于親密”的罪名而被囚禁。Geordie的妻子Lady Ann趕到了愛丁堡請求法官寬恕她的丈夫，結果是，法官同意釋放Geordie，不過前提是要他親手殺掉自己的妻子，最終Lady Ann為了挽救丈夫的性命而選擇死亡。
Geordie這首歌的依據是《蘇格蘭手卷》，寫了Geordie的妻子趕去懇求法官對丈夫網開一面被拒絕，而后Geordie被絞死的故事。
